About the Space
Chariclo is a multi-purpose events space nestled into the farmlands by Loch Lomond, surrounded by majestic mountains and inspiring landscapes. It is a place to collaborate, connect, experience and learn from one another, sharing skills, wisdom and kindness through events, retreats and workshops.
In our community growing hub we tune into the seasons and inspire people to live a more sustainable and self-sufficient life with deeper respect and reverence for the earth. By being closer to nature we can experience the blessings, joy and abundance that it brings. Chariclo provides a safe space for like-hearted people to come together in community & reconnect with nature and with others.

ABOUT THE CREATOR
I’m Sarah, the creator of Chariclo, a kundalini yoga teacher and a curator of spaces.
I have a deep love of nature and an insatiable interest in the arts, yogic philosophy, astrology and alternative ways of living.
I have a strong connection to Gartocharn and Loch Lomond as I was born here and my relatives have been farming this land for nearly 100 years.
After living in London for the last decade working in the creative industry I missed the slower pace of life and the simple pleasures nature has to offer - breathing in the fresh air, seeing the stars at night, swimming in the Lochs and having my bare feet on the ground. So it’s no surprise that I’ve found my way back here having missed the peace and tranquillity of it all.
THE VISION
I have always seen so much potential with Gartenbantrick Farm and I envision many wonderful ways to revive, diversify and bring new life to the land so that it can be shared and enjoyed by many more people.
It wasn’t until the shifts that followed 2020 that this path was laid out for me and the timing felt right.
I’m grateful to be a custodian of this beautiful land, which has been so nurturing to me during the most challenging times. Witnessing the transformation and growth others have experienced in this space has encouraged me to continue growing and welcoming more people in.
